Amba was found by the House to promote patronage and tackle Market linkage issues faced by the Handicraft sector of India. We do this by bringing in branding, marketing and curatorial skill sets with selective design intervention and sustainably and gradually improving logistics for farther and accurate reach in discerning Markets.

Certain Principles for functioning were agreed upon after thorough assessment on the field, which in long term should help in improving output quality of the sector.

1. No bargaining with the Artisan during procurement or commissions.

2. Five percent of every sale is put towards improving working conditions and education of the Artisans and their families.

Our vision is to play a part in the Renaissance of Indian Craft traditions, where the Land will be known for its sublime quality Craftsmanship, like in the golden ages of our history.
