Made by Women from communities in frontier lands of Uttarakhand who were involved in direct trade with Tibet during ancient times. Tibetan Buddhist influence could be seen in the motifs and colours. Dragons are considered to be the protectors of Buddhism whose thunderous voices awaken us from delusion.
